The Combi campervan is great for 2 people.  The staff at Kira are very friendly and the booking system is easy.  We would definately tell others to have fun in Scotland - this land has many faces.

The service from Kira Rentals was perfect, with no unexpected surprises.  If you are a stranger to the UK it's worth renting a Satnav system.  We found it really helpful.

Before the rental, Kira's contact and email responses were very quick. The campervan was really clean and all the staff were very friendly.

We found a perfect set up inside the campervan.  We would advise others to head to the west coast of Harris.  Absolutely stunning.

We found Kira provided friendly and helpful communication, good booking arrangements and website advice.  We would suggest overnight wild camping by the sea at Clauchlands Point on Arran and on the quayside in Tarbert (Loch Fyne).

The campervan was kitted out superbly and the standard of service was excellent.  We would particularly recommend Achiltibuie campsite - which is unfortunately threatened with closure.

We found everything very organised, with a well equipped campervan.  Our tip to others would be don't try to do too many miles!

Kira provided a first class service. We were very impressed. We would recommend Plockton as a must for anyone heading to The Highlands.

Wild camping in Scotland is a magic experience. We would definately recommend the Caol Laundrette just north of Fort William - friendly, tea, coffee and biscuits! And the overall service provided by Kira was very good.

With Kira, sorting out our booking was very easy. We'd suggest anyone going to the Connect Festival stays at Argyll Campsite in Inverary. It's organisesd, friendly, and has good facilities. They arranged transport to the festival for campers.

We were greeted by friendly staff who made it clear that nothing was too much of a problem. Very profesional. The van was clean and sound, just as described. Return handover was smootha nd quick - van checked over and deposit returned on the spot. Excellent service.

We had a fantastic week and are already planning the next!

Very friendly & good service. Top tips - the Red Squirrel Campsite in Glen Coe is quiet, cheap and you can light your own campfires.  

We were very satisfied with the service and the Go pod.  We took over a very well maintained and cleaned van and inventory.  The Go pod was as easy to drive as a normal car.  We got quite far (1600 miles) and felt well at home in our van for 16 days.  It was a bit sad when we had to return it! Thanks again for everything, we had really nice holidays with the Go pod!

Thanks for the service, information and equipment. We'd suggest campers dont wait too long to find the perfect campsite. Use your map to find a glen or loch and just try it ou! They're quiet, have a great atmosphere & great views.

The word we must use is beautiful - 9 days of sunny weather in Scotland and only 2 days of rain!  Castles, sheep, passing places, lochs and clean campsites.  Thank you Scotland !!  We thought that Kira were particularly good at organisation and the best campsite in Scotland is at Durness, overlooking the sandy beach.

We thought the service and the campervan from Kira were very good.  We particularly enjoyed watching the sunset at the north of The Isle of Skye.  Brian and Lisa, who run The Skyewalker hostel in Skye are very friendly and this is a great location.

Kira Rentals provided excellent service overall.  We would recommend the campsite at Hopeman, Moray - great position on the beach, with clean and modern facilities.

Right from the beginning we had very nice contact with Kira.   We were particularly impressed by the North of Scotland and would recommend others going here. The campsites at Durness,  Arisaig and Fionnphort were great and uncomplicated, with much space and nice views.

The welcome and information from Michelle was excellent. Our van was just what we were looking for for two people. However, the depot location does not do justice to Kira's professional approach. We would advise others to book one night at a time in campsites as the weather might dictate what you want to do.

We often speak about our wonderful trip around the Highlands.  It was gorgeous!!!  What beautiful nature, fantastic loneliness! We did never see such a landscape before!  I would like to underline that we have been very pleased with our motorhome!
It enabled us to stay close to nature in an almost perfectly equipped home.
 

We would definately recommend to others to head for the far North West and bring plenty of midge repellant!  We thought you have a really good website, helpful service and lovely coffee!

Our fondest memories were the sunset at the coast in the North West Highlands, watching grey seals and our visit to the Isle of Skye.

It was wonderful watching puffins on Lunga and orcas off the coast of Iona.

We loved finding a surreal campsite for our first night  and the scenery in the Highlands is stunning!

Wat een comfortabele en bovenal flexibele wijze om van de vakantie, Schotse natuur en natuurlijk de rust te genieten. Indrukwekkende stiltes tijdens het wildkamperen afgewisseld met hedendaagse comfortabele campings. Opstaan, rustig koffie drinken en zonder rompslomp op weg naar een volgende belevenis. Het was onze 1e ervaring met een camper en hebben heel veel plezier gehad van "ons bussie". Een uitstekend formaat en van alle noodzakelijke gemakken voorzien. Een krachtige motor die de meest steile hellingen zonder moeite wist te bedwingen. Dit alles gecombineerd met een uitermate flexibele instelling en uitstekende service van Kira Rentals. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug ! Een aanrader !

Our fondest memories are camping on the beach, the sunset over Iona and watching the puffins! 

It was great having the opportunity for wild camping, being self-sufficient and having no "wet tents" to put away.  Being pitched on the headland of Mull, looking out to sea ......beautiful.

We loved camping at the water's edge at Loch Lomond at Ardlui.

We loved visiting castles and ancient ruins.  The landscape was amazing, with the verdant countryside and fresh water everywhere. 

We loved the scenery and especially wild camping on the beach at Inverasdale.

Our fondest memory - the views at Achiltibuie were beautiful.

The scenery was amazing - especially driving from Glencoe to Ardnamurchan.

Really it was our first campervan experience and everything was perfect.  No problem with the Go-pod.  A lot of information from Kira and a kindly reception in Glagsow.  All was ready and well organised.  Bravo!  Everyday was special - a landscape so beautiful, so wild and so quiet.

My fondest memory was watching my daughter winning her dancing tournament.

Great van, nice people, flexible approach.  The whole package is a winner - Outer Hebrides is a winner in a campervan.

Notre meilleur souvenir - l'Isle of Skye et la gentillesse des conducteurs Ecossais, les chateaux et les paysages.

Everything was perfect. Very nice people and the best service. Again thank you for everything. I was really impressed when someone took a 30 minute drive to meet us and repair the water tap - that is what I call service!

We loved driving through all the beautiful scenery and especially climbing Ben Nevis!

Nothing to fault about the van or the pick-up / drop-off. The van was spacious and also small enough for the minor roads up the west coast.

It was my brothers 50th birthday. Great places? . . . t he mountain pass to Applecross and Sandwood bay in Sutherland where we managed to get the right wind for the kitesurfing.

To anyone thinking of campervanning in Scotland we would just suggest. . . Get up and go. Don't worry about where you end up at the end of each day.   photos of our adventure here:

Our fondest memory would be staying in The Highlands, especailly staying in Ben Nevis and the great views on the drive from Loch Lomond to Fort William. Thank you from Jason & Janek.

When we were on the top of Ben Nevis there was an F16 jet flying below us in the valley, amazing to see. We only had two morningd with some light rain in the whole 10 days, even got a bit of a sun tan!

The famous rain in Scotland - it' s a myth! (Note from Kira - No guarantees on this one!)

Overall it was a great campervan and the best way to see Scotland.

Our fondest memories are having breakfast in Glencoe, overlooking the mountains and laughing alot on our trip!

The best place we stayed? Dunvegan (on Skye) for 2 nights. A lovely place and incidentally they have the most fantastic, clean , well stocked general store.

Top-tip from Kira....

It's a "winter wonderland" on Speyside/ Cairngorms, plenty of snow and ice, we don't have that where I come from!. Also had a sunny & warm day on Mull. As always in Scotland there is wonderful scenery & very good wildlife watching and photography opportunities. Excellent vehicle and first class customer service. I will definately be back again. Only thing is that the bike rack restricts rear visibility.

I've been meaning to send these photos for awhile now from our amazing honeymoon adventure we had at the end of August 2007!  Thank you so much for everything.  We really had a fantastic time and loved our little campervan.  Hope you enjoy the photos!

The go-pod is the perfect size for 2 people, handles really well. Great. Unlimited kilometres is an absolute bonus, this gave us the freedom to range as far & wide as we wanted. Fondest memory - the higland mountains, lochs and absolutley breathtaking scenery... oh and Scottish beraches are amazing, who would have thought !?

Some suggestions - a softer mattress would make sleeping even more comfy, a few more utensils would be handy - a colander for draining pasta and a pair of tongs please???

With it being our honeymoon, it will always be a great memory for us - spending our first 10 days together as a married couple in a small space and still loving and enjoying each other at the end  .  We saw and experienced so many great things and places but we both loved that we had the opportunity to see the Scotland vs Lithuania football match (Scotland 3 Lithuania 1).  Thank you for the wonderful memories we will always have.
